A publisher wanted to publish Richard Crossman’s diaries and AG sought an injunction to stop them.

Ruled that the court had the power to stop publication due to collective responsibility (NB: the convention is being made a legally enforceable rule) but that since the diaries pertained to cabinet meetings nine years previously, their publication wouldn’t be stopped.
