Defendant witnessed a fight, thought the policeman was arresting the wrong person and tried to tell him to arrest the other one instead, grabbing the policeman’s arm.
He was charged with obstructing a policeman in the course of his duty and convicted.
His appeal was dismissed on the grounds that he had no lawful right to interfere, even if his motive was good.
