The University of Derby, founded in 1992, is a non-profit, coeducational, public institution headquartered in Derby, East Midlands, with additional campuses in Buxton, Chesterfield, and Leek. It's recognized by the Privy Council and is large-sized, with an enrollment of 15,000 to 19,999 students. Degrees offered include pre-bachelor's, bachelor's, master's, and doctorates in various fields of study. The university has a selective admission policy based on students' academic records and grades with an acceptance rate of 80-89%. International students are invited to apply. Along with educational programs, the university also provides resources such as a library, sports facilities, study abroad programs, as well as online and distance learning opportunities.
